Flag Day 2011

Who says only the healthcare professionals can help the patients? You can, too.

On Saturday, 16 April 2011, let's all do something meaningful for our patients. Support our islandwide fundraising efforts and drop your token of aid into our donation tins during our Ren Ci Flag Day 2011.

Every donation, regardless of the amount, goes a long way to help our patients. All proceeds go towards the well-being of our patients. We hope to raise $100,000 through this event.

For those who have already signed up as street-canvassing volunteers, remember to collect your donation tins and permits from and return to your assigned collection/return site respectively within the assigned shift hours. The seven collection/return sites are:
- Bishan Junction 8 (Near taxi stand)
- Boon Lay (Near taxi stand / Jurong Central Park, opp Boon Lay MRT)
- Newton MRT (Exit B, Level 1)
- Outram Park MRT (EW line Level 1, behind 'CAKE' shop)
- Tampines One (outside Topshop Man)
- Sembawang MRT (Near loading bay)
- Sengkang MRT (Outside exit C and Compass Point).

Besides the volunteers who will be reporting to the above stations, we are also glad to have the participation and support from Bukit Batok Zone 2 Residents' Committee, Xin Min Secondary School, Foo Hai Ch'an Monastery, and the Singapore Buddhist Youth Mission. All in all, some close to 1000 volunteers will be going around the island on 16 April with our donation tins.

Meanwhile, volunteers are reminded that they are NOT ALLOWED to solicit donations at the following restricted areas:

- inside MRT stations and on trains/buses,
- inside the premise of shopping malls, hospitals, hotels and places of worship,
- in Changi Airport, Woodlands checkpoint & railway stations.

Thank you all volunteers who have signed up for the Ren Ci Flag Day.
