About Allied Health

Physiotherapy
Stemming from the word Physical-therapy, physiotherapy is the therapeutic treatment of disease, bodily defects or weaknesses by massage, special exercises, also known as remedial training or rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy basically deals with evaluating and maintaining the physical functions of the body, i.e. muscles and bones. It helps in recovery and enables the patient to move around.

 

 

 

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy focuses on understanding and improving the functional abilities of a patient.

An occupational therapist is actively involved in the mental faculties of the patient. He ensures that the patient can lead an optimal life in spite of his injuries, making the best of his home as well as his occupation.

Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR

Minimum GCE 'A' level results in the following :

General Paper (English medium) at 'AO'level Grade 1-6 or
English (EL1) at 'O' level Grade 1-7
Mathematics at 'A' level or any other 'A' level subject Grade A-E, plus
Mathematics at 'AO' level Grade 1-6 or 'O' level Maths(Elementary/Additional) Grade 1-6

Tenure of Scholarship : 3 years in NYP

Bond Period : 3 years
