Car treasure hunt raises S$360,000 for Ren Ci

By Monica Kotwani | Posted: 21 November 2010 2106 hrs SINGAPORE: About 100 cars took part in a treasure hunt for the Ren Ci Drive for Fund 2010 on Sunday.
The cars had to pick up clues and complete tasks at various checkpoints.
Each car paid S$500 to take part and was allowed to take up to four passengers.
Chairman of Ren Ci and CEO of Ho Bee Group, Mr Chua Thian Poh said the event raised S$360,000 in total, surpassing its target of S$150,000.
The Ho Bee Group also pledged S$150,000 to the event.
The money will go towards patient care.
