Here’s great news! By 2008, Ren Ci’s family will reach out and help a wider group of friends. It is our 3rd attempt to have a bigger home and better medical facilities. This new home will be shared between Chronic Sick patients and Community Hospital patients.

Our new home will be 15 storeys high and built on 0.5ha of land next to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Here’s a look at what’s in our new home:

• 123 community hospital beds
• 154 chronic sick hospital beds (transferred over from our present Moulmein wards)
• Domiciliary Care Services
• Retail pharmacy
• Outpatient clinics
• X-ray facilities
• Laboratory facilities
• Training facilities (for staff, care-givers and volunteers)
• Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic

I am beary beary excited about our new home. With this, I believe the staff and volunteers of Ren Ci will gear themselves to meet the new challenges ahead.
