Six Ren Ci nurses received AIC’s HMDP-ILTC Award

On 18 August 2011, over 200 healthcare professionals in the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) sector gathered in Ren Ci Community Hospital to attend the HMDP-ILTC Award Ceremony hosted by AIC, in recognition of the efforts from various ILTC providers to improve the quality and range of ILTC services in Singapore to meet the emerging national needs.

Ren Ci would like to congratulate the following six nurses, who have received the HMDP-ILTC Award (under the fellowship Scheme) from the hands of the Guest-of-Honour, Health Minister Gan Kim Yong: 

  • Ms Pauline Ang Hwee Yen - recently completed the Clinical Instructor Course for Registered Nurses at National Healthcare Group College
  • Mr Eddie Phua Kian Peng - currently taking the Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Gerontology) at Nanyang Polytechnic
  • Ms Cristina Zara Macalalad - commencing the Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Orthopaedics) at Nanyang Polytechnic in October
  • Ms Lingaraj Prabha – commencing the Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Gerontology) at Nanyang Polytechnic in October
  • Mr Bagares Floyd Salomon – commencing the Clinical Instructor Course for Registered Nurses at National Healthcare Group College in October
  • Mr Nelson Coronado Rosales - commencing the Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Gerontology) at Nanyang Polytechnic next April

Meanwhile, Ren Ci Hospital was also recognised with an award for its effort in inviting Professor Len Gray last year to conduct talks on the InterRAI system for the ILTC healthcare professionals under the Visiting Expert Scheme.
