- Receive report & take over keys from night shift
- Do a quick ward round & check on patients

- Supervise in serving & clearing of patients' breakfast

| 7.15am to 8.30am |
- Serving medication
- Supervise bathing
- Helping juniors carry and transfer patients
- Fixing up close system feeding for patients with feeding tube

| 8.30am to 9.00am |
- Reporting to nurse manager (Any messages or issues regarding patients and staff)
- Assist the doctor in-charge for review of medication, patients' special change of medical attention and patient's condition. Letting the Doctors know who are the patients that need change of tracheostomy and special blood test

| 9.00am to 10.15am |
- Inform pharmacist of any changes in patient's medication
- Perform tracheostomy care (suction & dressing) for patients
- Whole ward wound dressing for patients

| 10.15am to 10.30am |
- Preparations for patients for appointment @ other hospitals (if available)
- Supervise in cleaning and tidy of ward
- Assign juniors for tea break

- Serving of diabetic medication
|
| 11.15am to 11.45am |
- Ordering of diet for tomorrow
- Supervise and preparation of patients' lunch. Eg. Food must be warm, correct diet to patient, correct calorie as instructed for patient and correct proportion
- Check if patients are eating well or not

- Writing progress report
- Assign juniors for lunch
- Receive medication from pharmacy (check and keep)

- Passing report to PM shift staff
- Practising proper hand washing together
- Discuss any issues or problems with junior staff
