Responsibilities

Launder all household linen and residents' clothing at the correct temperature according to type of fabric, and ensure that all items are thoroughly cleansed and stain free.

Maintain cleanliness of all laundry area including laundry processing equipment and storage areas.

 

Requirements

  • At least Primary School education.
  • Able to communicate in simple English.
  • Able to do simple sewing and use sewing machine is desirable.

Require to work on weekends and public holidays. Flexible working hours may be available.

Responsibilities

You will perform the role under the supervision of the Senior Assistant Nurse and Staff Nurse. You will provide routine safe care to the patients and shall be responsible of providing a conducive environment for patients’ speedy recovery as well as assist in Activities of Daily Living and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain organization’s purchasing objectives, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop & maintain RFP/Tender process and evaluation framework for price and quality.
  • Manage the Purchase Requisitions process from the community hospital and nursing homes.
  • Responsible for the sourcing, completeness of quotation, and due diligence in the evaluation of the quotations.
  • Ensure best price, quality, availability, and reliability when purchasing products.
  • Responsible for the contract terms & conditions, and awarding of contracts.
  • Work closely and liaise with AIC and ALPS for Shared Procurement initiatives.
  • Track and Manage the Vendor Managed Inventory outsourcing partnership and utilization.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plan in procurement and coordinate the purchase of supplies in emergency situations.
  • Manage and sustain healthy service provider/vendor relationship.
  • Carry out procurement analysis, monitor market pricing, and develop new sources.
  • Process approvals to release Purchase Orders within the authorized financial approval limits.
  • Give recommendation on claims or expenses resulting from actions of employees or suppliers involving faulty materials, missing KPIs, or breach of contracts.
  • Actively participate as a member for improvement projects at facility/hospital-wide level.
  • Participates in any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Chief Operating Officer.
  • Requirements

    • A recognized degree or its equivalent, preferably in business or management.
    • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Material Management, Purchasing and/or Inventory Control, with a least 3 years in a supervisory role.
    • Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong action planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to lead a team and work well with peers and management.

  • Arrange and coordinate and conduct regular review meetings on incidents, medication errors, unplanned admissions, pressure ulcers and serious reportable events and mortality

  • Requirements

    • Min of 5 GCE O Levels
    • Basic general nursing certificate or relevant qualification in healthcare

    Requirements

    • Basic Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
    • Post-graduate qualifications / Certificate in ‘Gerontology’ is an advantage but is not essential.
    • Membership in the Singapore Physiotherapy Association is also an advantage.
    • Experience in geriatric, long term care or nursing home environments will be an advantage.
