Respite Care

As a caregiver, there are times when you may need a temporary break due to the need for medical treatment or simply seeking relief from prolonged caregiving. The Nursing Home Respite Care programme offers short-term relief for caregivers to address the disruption in their caregiving role while their loved one is cared for in a selected nursing home. The minimum period of stay is 7 days and the maximum period of stay is 30 days per calendar year (inclusive of admission and discharge dates).

To apply for the programme, referrals must be channeled from the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). For more information, please visit the Eldercare Services in the Singapore Silver Pages website.
