Just a short walk from the tranquil Little Guilin, Ren Ci @ Bukit Batok St. 52 is a 256-bed nursing home that aims to be part of the community. Residents stay in wards split into two wings, each housing three cubicles of six to 10 beds. A rooftop garden sits atop the 7-storey building, offering residents a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery.
Built without a surrounding wall, the facility houses various several facilities open to the public to better support the neighbouring community, such as the Keep Fit Centre (KFC) and Friends @ Ren Ci Active Ageing Centre (Care). Find out more below!
The Keep Fit Centre (KFC) is a gym with equipment specifically designed for seniors to maintain or improve their physical health. The equipment include stationary bikes and medical grade treadmills. Admission is free for Bukit Gombak residents, with a nominal fee charged otherwise.
An Active Ageing Centre (Care), members of Friends @ Ren Ci meet up for kopi and snacks with other members while staff and volunteers conduct fun and educational activities. Outings are also organized on an ad hoc basis. Check out the monthly programme here!
